Chinese 2: Translate the conversation in lesson 12 and recognize all the characters in the text without looking at pinyin. Do character sheet.

Chinese 1: Take the lesson 6 textbook packet on the desk under the side whiteboard and do exercise in lesson 6.  You may play Chinese chess for 45 minutes.

1.Translate your sheet from the class if you are secret agent. Write down all the questions and answers in characters if you are secretary.
2. Write down the conversation for p. 16 12-10. 12 long sentences at least.

2.finish the worksheet 12-7 and 8 (previous homework) and write down the meaning of the optative verbs in the sentences. Mark the ones of which the negative form are irregular. You may check the table on p. 6, 7 in the textbook for reference.

Spoken test. Have a conversation with your partner. You need to elicit following information: his name, nationality, languages, profession, what he studies, whether he has roommates/friends, how many friends/roommates he has, who are they. The second task is to introduce your partner including the information above. Make up a profile of a person or use a celebrity's information.
