Write down the conversation for 13-10 in Pinyin (with tones) or characters. A day class also finish the translation in the worksheet in characters. Quiz next time (review questions in Worksheet 12-3)

Finish the 3 2 1 if you havent done it yet. 

—3 most common questions for shopping

—2 sentences expressing that you DON’T feel something/some color is pretty on/in you

—1 sentence for asking for opinion when you have two choices (two colors, two different clothes, etc.)

Find all the sentences with "zen me yang" "haishi", and "huozhe" and translate them in this unit from p. 28 to 37 (some were translated already in class)

We received some funding to host AAPPL test for Chinese Level 2 (who have learned Chinese for 2 years) and Level 3 (who have learned Chinese for 3 or more years) students.

If you are interested in taking the test, please email me ASAP BEFORE NEXT WEDNESDAY.

The AAPPL test is an ACTFL test and each student will receive a score that corresponds to one of the ACTFL proficiency levels (e.g., novice-low, novice-mid, novice-high, intermediate-low).

Below is the topics that AAPPL test will assess:

New late homework policy

Dear Students,
Next quarter we will have a slightly different late homework policy. Late homework is accepted with penalties. If you turn it in one day late, you can get 2/3 of the points. If you turn it two days late, you can get half. If you turn it 3 days late, you will get only 1/3.

Spring Break Chinese 2

1.Complete the previous worksheet (titled 12-3 worksheet). You should translate the first part and write the sentences in characters in second part.

2.Finish the worksheet titled Lesson 13 Clothes and Shopping. Mark the tones of the phrases in 13-7.

Prepare for the spoken test. Finish the character sheet (DUE ON WRITTEN TEST DAY), revise your homework (sentence translation last time) in DIFFERENT COLOR and write down the conversation for the spoken test. (You may write in pinyin)
TASK 1. Introduce your family (refer to the textbook). You must include the following information:

How many family members, who they are, what nationalities they have, what they do, where they work, how many cars and pets your family have

TASK 2: conversation with your partner or teacher asking and answering the information above

03/01, 04 Chinese 2

Translate the first part and second part in the worksheet titled 12-3. Textbook packet p. 36 13-5 every sentence should have at least 10 characters. p. 37 3. and 13-7
Check whether you have reached today's objectives. Recall the expressions of "what to buy, cost, and opinions". If not, read your textbook and find them.
