Part2: Suppose you meet someone in the first time and have a conversation eliciting the information above from your partenr.

Summer Camp in China!!!!!

Dear Arizona teachers, parents and high school students,

I would like to share an exciting opportunity for Arizona high school students to travel to China this summer with you.  The Confucius Institute at Arizona State University and the Confucius Classroom at Catalina Foothills High School, together with the Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban will host the 2013 Chinese Bridge Summer Camp in China.

o   Date: The 2013 Chinese Bridge Summer Camp is a 2-week program, starting on July 10 (Wednesday) and ending on July 25, 2012 (Thursday).   Students will visit Beijing and one of the following cities: Tianjin, Henan, Shandong, Hunan, Zhejiang, Yunnan, and Jilin. 

o   Eligibility: This summer camp is open to grade 9-12 high school students, aged 14-18, whose native language is not Chinese. 

o   Fees: The participant will be responsible for the round-trip airfare from Phoenix/Tucson to Beijing, cost for international travel medical insurance, and fees for China visa application. Hanban will cover room and board, domestic airfare and transportation, activities and tours/admission tickets during the calendar of events and activities of the camp. 

o   Application Fee: Each applicant will pay $200 application fee which will be used to help cover international airfare for chaperons who will be with the campers throughout the program. 

o   Application Deadline:  All the application materials must be submitted by Monday, April 29, 2013.

You should be able to do the questions (translate and recognize characters) in the 6*6 table for the grammar. You should be able to ask what to buy, the price (duoshao qian) and opinion of something or color on you (juede ... zenmeyang, haokan, other adjectives for expressing opinion etc), present two choices (haishi VS huozhe).

2.Write a conversation on making plans before go shopping. You call someone and ask when he will have time (no matters) and set the time and place to meet before going shopping. You use有事,怎么样,行,见 etc。

1.Pick 6 sentences from "give one get one", translate them and write them in characters.
2. Write a conversation for phone situation. This conversation is before the conversation 13-10. You ask your friend on the phone if they have time (no business) at certain time and make appointment to go shopping. You should have the time and place to meet in the conversation.
3. Make up previous homework (the table questions).
